Dr. Garcia earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Utah. Dr. Garcia is a clinician, professional speaker, and Certified Performing Edge Coach. His approach to coaching uses analysis of behavior and cognition to improve motivation, life balance, and performance. He oftentimes uses cognitive tools to empower athletes and teams to reach their performing potential. Prior to obtaining his doctorate, he played football at the University of California, Berkeley, Golden Bears. In 1991, the Golden Bears won the Citrus Bowl and ended the season, ranked seventh in the nation.
Dr. Garcia has assisted a variety of athletes, businesspersons and private clients to empower them with the tools necessary to obtain their performance and life goals.
